Pepper Goes to the Desert

Last weekend I visited the Anza Borrego Desert to watch migrating hawks take off on the early morning thermals.

Since the hawks weren't very exciting, I explored the desert and found that there were many interesting smells.

 Seems there are DOZENS of coyotes passing thru here, leaving their marks on every scrubby plant available.

---

Of course I had to leave my calling card for them to find the next time they went that way.
